-Also this week could seem as a quite week, even downwarding. Offers of cream at 2,92 €/kg, of raw milk at 0,41 €/kg and of skimmed milk at 0,17 €/kg.
A drop in prices with a decreasing milk production could be determinated just by lower demand, due to high temperature and holiday season.
-On the report, price of french butter has risen by € 0,30 reaching 6,50 €/kg. If the price has been the same, 6,10 €/kg and 6,30 €/kg, for Kempten, and 6,14 €/kg for Holland, it would have been a week with no twists and turns.
The french report grew € 0,80 in the last four weeks and today it’s the highest. In France, proctions of milk are very low and the consumption of butter, both in industrial and domestical use,is very high.
Despite the french situation, the average in these three countries during this week is 6,28 €/kg.
as always, the market shows different developments on reports because of offers of polish butter at 5,85 €/kg, DAP Northern Italy-
– Reports of milk powder show decreases in Germany and Holland even this week, but they are unchanged in France.
The real market is in a confused situation with differences in offers of 0,20 €/kg.
-However even whey powder is continuously decreasing on the three reports.
Is there too much production of cheese?
-Average european quotations of cheese reports is increasing until 3,60 €/kg for Cheddar and 4,34 €/kg for Emmentaler and it is decreasing until 3,26 €/kg for Edamer and 3,21 €/kg for Gouda.
In Italy quotations are stable in all main Commodity Exchanges.
